| My babies are currently after each others crickets! Missed a great sting shot from four...they decided to drag the cricket under the hide and I couldnt capture what I could see which was all four having a go! I have one munching on a HUGE cricket (heads cut off so no risk to babies) and another wants to share but...the other doesnt want to! *hehe* xxxxxxx | |

| ooh very greedy! 4 big crickets and their heads. ALL GONE! I saw one running about last night with a huge cricket leg and thigh in its mouth! it would be like a human with a lamb leg in his/her mouth! Was watching them this evening, two got into a "shake shake judder judder" thing but that didnt last long and then watched a small one digging down and pulling out and pushing out the soil he/she had collected. Making a little burrow! Im not pleased they are doing this since I didnt pack the soil down! I cant imagine they will go far down and get burried as it is all lose so they can just scramble to the top if need be! Stingy is out and about again tonight which makes me worry! Before I would hardly see her! Makes me think something isnt right! xxxxxxxx | |

| Sometimes my adults come out to explore, sometimes they sit in their burrows for weeks at a time. But that's cute that the little one was making a burrow! | |

| 3rd Instar!!! I noticed last night that there was some moult skins lying about! Not full ones though so I dont know how many have moulted. I did see one scorpling poking himself in and out of a hide and clearly can see a size difference! also not as "dark" anymore, so im guessing its been recently done! We did lift up the tank to get a look underneath *they all under the substrate and can see their little tummies on the bottom of the glass* and counted 16 so dont know if we have lost any but then again, you dont know who is where etc* I think underneath one was in the process of moulting too! but was hard to see! I will have to wait and see how many have moulted. I havent looked in the tank for about 2 days as kept looking for evidence of moulting, so when ive stopped looking they have gone and done it! Typical eh! they hit 2nd instar at 2 weeks and 1 day. just over 6 weeks later and 3rd instar is happening xxxxxxxxx | |

| Sweet!! I just saw something on Venomlist where someone recorded how long it took his emps to hit maturity -- final molt was at over 600 days, so you've got a bit of a wait until you can get started on the next generation. But it's nice to hear that they're making progress! | |

| I did see someones, somewheres list on how long it took and I thought it would be last month they would moult, my babies seems to be taking a little bit longer to do it, but I guess its all in their own time. Some people said 7-10 days to come off the back and they took 15 days Its really hard for me to tell since they are all hidden but I know 1 has done it, so at 8 weeks we shall say but I think it could be a few days over that. But I have a long way to go yet! I know I said at 3rd instar I would pass them on but already I want to keep them all...its like not being able to let a kitten go to a new home xxxxxxx | |

| i say a week or 2 before they turn to 2nd instar, after that it all depends on how much you feed them, Temp, moisture.. | |
