| yeah, I'm fairly sure scorpions can have broods of 100+
I think buthids are the record-holders for brood size.
(just checked, Centruroides insulanus has had a recorded brood size of 105.) | |

| arent emp babys the biggest born? I mean in scorpion itself not brood size..
My brood was 21 which seems about average.
Some have way more, some have way less.
Sounds like yours may be the same as mine was. I could only count like 18 on her without disturbing her. And then when it was time to move them I found 20 total. Then I moved them dividing them in half I found 1 more, so I had 21!
Maybe I should move them again to find more!! jk
2 moves was more then enough for them.. | |
