| I purchased my emp late last year and didnt she was pregnant (or even that it was a she) and then this morning I woke up to a huge surprise. I now have several babies im assuming between 10-15 maybe more. I cant really tell because she is barely sticking out of her burrow.
I am very scared that these scorps will die because i know nothing about caring for the young and never intended to do so in the first place.
I am willing to give up my scorpion if the babies can survive, so i was wondering if I take her to the pet store can they take them in? or what other ways are there to go about this matter

| I dont have the room in my apartment to raise that many scorps. I just talked to my university about it. Maybe they will take them unless someone here wants to buy them | |

| The first few weeks you dont have to do anything, before they crawl from the mother's back. Afterward, when they do you just separate the small ones from the mother.
Now you are ready after the first feeding (dead crickets or pinheads), you can donate them to your school.
You dont have to turn in the mother with them..

| I wouldn't risk to stress a scorpion that has just given birth with relocation etc. | |

| I might say Dolby is right! Just leaving her alone is the best thing you can do now! | |

| That was my next question How to get her out? The professor that is going to take care of the scorps is very knowledgeable about it and can help me with the process | |

| If your professor does know a thing or two about scorpions, he should know that you just have to keep them there, unmoved... mother and young. Untill the babies come off her back from their own.
Dont cause stress to the mother. She will eat the babies and most likely pinch you a few good times too.
When they leave the mother you can scoop them up with a spoon. They cant climb smooth metals or glass.
