Dont worry about it though, just remove the cricket *as im sure you have hehe* and any remaining mould you can see.
Its happened to me before...well with leg pieces. Clearly the scorpion(s) didnt want feeding that time, try again next week
Another note, from what I have noticed. When my grrrl wants feeding she always sits with her chela poking out the hide and open. If you dont see that for a while then she doesnt want food, but if you notice one night she has her chela poking out, pop one cricket in and judge by what she does xxxxx what do you mean by chela? phelidaps or the little mouthparts(cant remember name and sorry for bad spelling) cheers for the info. | |

| The chela are the "pincers" which are attached to the "arms"...as a whole the Pedipalp. the chela is the "claw" When that is poking out from under the hide with the "pincers" open...that is a signal to feed as in the wild, they wouldnt always go out and roam but wait with "hands open" for food and then attack, catch, sting/crush and then eat xxxxx | |

| they wont activly look for food until they have hardened and to be honest I didnt look for wanting to be fed signs. I waited a few days and then put in some headless crickets and feeding began right away. All piled around one cricket when two more were there to be eaten hehehe. How often were you going into or looking at the tank? xxxxxx | |

| any, as long as its head is removed that way its not big nor small with a mouth to bite! Adam the other day picked up a cricket that had escaped and it bit him! so if they bite humans, 2I's wont be a problem. When mine got harder, I put in small crickets and they took them down fine! hehehe xxxxxx | |

| ok, i put a headless cricket into the cage, outside the hide. i looked into the hide an hour later---- and whats this--- one of the babies has stolen the cicket all for itself! so i put another one in and most of them are feeding on it! yaaaay!! ive also noticed the the scorps are starting to brown a little bit, too. oh yeah- how meany times a week should i feed 'em? same as an adult? | |

| Feed them as often as they eat. If they don't eat offered prey, try again in a few days. If they still don't eat, try again in a week. | |

| Mine all used to pile around one cricket, some vertical in the air! I offer 4 a week or 2 and then 2 days later add 2 more. But as Mike said, feed as often as they will eat. I only feed mine so much because I have a lot *like you do* in one tank and there is always one who gets only a cricket leg xxx | |

| As long as it takes them to be honest. I have one still moulting *kinda stuck like the other* and some havent even begun yet and that is hitting past the 3 months old mark. Just depends on them, but I would say before and around 3 months since their birth in my current experience xxx | |
