I'm considering getting an emperor scorpion and there seems to be much conflicting information knocking about. I'll put together an incomplete care summary, and if you guys could fill in the blanks, and also ammend any false information that I've picked up, that'd be awesome.
Housing:
10-20 gallon enclosure for a single adult
Ceramic heat bulb creating a warm side of 80-85 and a cool side of 70-75
4-6 inches of sphagnum moss for substrate
Mist as to keep humidity between 70% and 80%
Two compact hides on each side
Shallow water dish, large enough for the scorpion to get into
Feeding:
Feed commercially stocked insects
[size, frequency of feedings, ect?]
Thank you.
