I've been trying to get a piece of CF foil... Might get a nice photoshoot.... IF she stays still for a sec or two

I know, they're nice and calm in a ball at first but slowly get quicker and quicker as they get stressed, by the time I get the camera set-up I've got no hope of a decent shot!

Yeah I like CF as a back ground, GS uses it sometimes and looks cool.

I'm not sure how long she is at the moment mate, shall measure her later.

This is how the photo shoot ended up the other day. "Get off my damn camera and get in a nice ball on the sheet! Fine I'll use my phone!!"

Is the tub on the background her home?

Yeah that was her tub mate, she was being upgraded then. That's why I had the tub off the rack, swapping the thermostat over. I'll sort pics of her new tub, I'm using such a simple set-up. Paper towl substrate, hot hide, cool hide and a water bowl.

I should upgrade mine soon too. It's bit too compact now. Just a dog water bowl that serves as a water source and as a hide, and bark as substrate. Just need to work a couple of setups out of the way so I can put her in something bigger and have a hides in there. She learned though, that when I take the water bowl/hide out, it's feeding time

Haha, she was starting to constrict it a worrying amount so I got her off!

I like her eye markings too, hoping the top of her head lightens up more. She kind of has a moustache aswell

Guess it's time I post some updated pics too. I haven't measured her length lately, but she's gained about 40% bodyweight since I got her.
She's with a monsterous appetite now. I feed her on 5 dies, but usually 2 days after feeding, she's back on searching/hunting for food. Still need to make a feeding vid though.

She's lovely mate, definitely cool markings for a normal and looking fatter! What's she weighing in at?

I weighed my girl last night because she'd emptied out, 245g!!! Last weighed her at 160g LOL

Wow! Last time I weighted her about 2 weeks ago at 140 gr. Got her at 100g.
Now that all feeding issues are history, I'm hoping she'll hit 200g pretty fast.

Yeah she'll start packing on the weight now she's feeding regularly and will hit 200 before you know it. Time goes so fast, can't believe how much mine has put on in the last few weeks.

I'm off to get some more rats from the breeder tonight so will hopefully get to see some of his new additions, he has some crazy morphs.

How many shed did yours go through since in your care? 2? Or more?

She's shed 3 times since I got her mate, from 140g-245g.

We're 1 shed behind then...and 100g.

But we'll catch you up soon

Will be quite interesting to see, let's say after a year what length/weight ours will be at. As we took them just 1 week apart and and at pretty much the same size.

Bets anyone?

Is there a real golden tint in his eyes?

Thats the original tint on his eye. More towards the top half, not sure if there will be changes in the future though

Shot #14, the bottom half of the eye shows his own reflection
