GS, sorry but, in your website, the pic of the male grasping the female's chela, you wrote, "right chela = female , left chela = male". The pic shows that the right chela was the bulbous one and the left was the slender one. Is there a mistake? Because by looking at ur other pics on the same page, for example the very first pic, the male P Trans u marked 1.0 which is a male, had bulbous chela, and another photo of the male P Trans molting from 6i>7i, had too, bulbous chela. I dont mean any offence, but i would just like to inform u incase there is a mistake. Or i could be wrong.

There is no need to apologise. Typos and errors should be corrected.
Yes, it is a wrong placement of words. Thanks for the heads-up.

Btw do you have problems reading pm? The question i'm asking is not related to any threads.
Please reply via pm.

This Parabuthus transvaalicus 5.instar female is about to molt very very soon..

This is "THE" pre-molt position which i have observe in all my desert specimens which i would like to share. Refer to the picture below, as the actual day of molting draws near, the pair of chela is bent more inwards to the Chelicera. Metasoma is in a relax position.

I'd also like to point out that in GS' second picture you can clearly see the developed tergites through the pleural membrane. Once this is visible a molt should come quite quickly.
