Been a long time folks, hope all is well! Just had to get on here and let all those who knew about my pending year long PT order with Todd Gearheart. I ended up with both PT's and PL's in the mean time but kept communications up with Todd on my order placed a year ago. He had some problems with his PTs and ended up finding a gravid female. When she finally popped he hooked me up with 9 cb's and also a pair of G. Pulchripe spiderlings. So all faired well in the end. If anyone orders through Todd, my advice is contact him first and order something that is currently in stock and not on it's way. If you do run into the same problem that I did and there problems with WC orders from 3rd world countries just keep the communications up with Todd and he'll hold true!
I'm gonna have to check this thread out again as it looks like there is about 15 more pages on this bad boy since the last time I logged in!
Keep the Parabuthus Love going GS!!

Well its a bad quality vid, but its the most freaky Pt I have. Its the only one I have trouble with keeping inside its box. On top is a mesh and its the only one that can climb it and demolish it. I had to stack other enclosre on his one to keep HER in. As you can see, the littel trapdoor psycho pt has little manners too. It is only instar 4 but unmatched attitude by anything I have. I d say, raped!

lol it was really, I heard some pokpok from the scorpion that hit the side of the tub. But I never saw the cricket again
Its one of those few scorpions that cant care less. You can shake it turn it over shine a spot on its head from up close. It doesnt get nervous, it still attacks whatever comes close.
They are very unpredictable. But some are actually very predictable. Like this one. Albeit more to the ravenous side. Its this one that clung onto an adult female cricket while being instar 3 and being jumped around his entire enclosure untill the cricket was dead.
These scorpions are not that rare and so not really valued, but I say everyone that doesnt have any should look out for some. They have a really high "entertainment and show' value, plus being really big and beautiful when adult. Highly underrated imo. You will get more bang out of these than out of Androctonus species because they just are miles more ruthless.

Cool bro! Anyway its not hard since these guys always seem to surprise you when you least expect it. Got another one moulting to i6 now. I got them as fresh i3 on 30th of june, it is now the 2nd of october and into i6. This seems to me as a myth busted that these guys grow slow. I have read occasional reports from people that keep these that say they are slow growers.
In fact, they're pretty FAST growers. Keep them hot and stuff them with 4 or 5 adult crickets (from instar4) and you're golden. Link to the i6 Pt in your thread
Cool vid bro. And great looking Parabuthus you've got there!

Thanks bud Imo, P.liosoma's appeal is in the contrasting colors between the body.. legs and of cos.. the "black" tipped telson. Not so much of thick tail sadly. haha

Very nice GS. Will keep an eye on my 2i villosus to see if this can be applied to them aswell.
By the way, is it 1 day before molting to 2. instar.. or 3. instar?
