Question about female Emperors

Do females do the same shutter that the males do? like when a male comes up to a female and starts to shutter? the shake thingy

I'm not sure about adults. When i had an adult male and female, the male shuddered but the female did not.

When i had my 9 female emp 3 instars, the majority of them would shudder if they were suddenly disturbed by something like a cricket.

Well im just curious cause i wasnt positive on if my emp was a female or not but when i added "it" with my male, my male just wandered around it shuddering and it just stood there and did nothing. Which brought me to the conclusion that he wanted to mate and she didnt care lol

Get a picture of the underside i.e. it's pectines and operculum and we can sex it for you.

i try but i cant seem to get a good picture at all with any of them.
