| Crickets in the substrate cant be good. Just cut the tube thingys off the females before you put them in the tank. The temp looks to have enough of a difference to make it work, just make sure she has a hide in the cool side, so she can cool off if she needs it or she can warm up if she needs it. | |

| Too many crickets can be stressful for your scorpion, especially if it's molting . Only feed it however many crickets it will eat in a sitting. I usually just do 1 a week

| You could leave 1 or 2 in there if your sure they arent laying eggs anymore. Plus if they are in fact laying eggs in the substrate, I think you could microwave it for a little bit to kill the eggs. If im wrong someone plz tell me. But I head crush most all my emps food stuff. Especially now that I had to destroy their enclosure to fetch an errant superworm. But for the occasional prey item that gets to run loose, and if it happens I only do 2 crickets, for the females I cut the egg tube off. Besides pull the back legs off them.
*edit* As a side note you could buy some 10 inch tongs and feed her that way. | |

| An easy way to get rid of baby crickets is to let them hatch, then place a soda straw on the substrate leading up to your water dish. The baby crickets will crawl through the straw, fall out the end over the water dish and drown. Bex has tried this and reported that it works. A quick search should turn up her post. | |
