IR bulb question

just got a new IR the old one was a 50W bulb but this one is a 60W which will mean i only have to dim it abit more but it looks different in colour its a red bulb but its got a yellow glo within the red but doesnt say its IR like the last one did on the box this one just says red night spot lamp, this is the one i have got in the pic off the internet thats why its 40W is this still IR?

I can't find any detail on this lamp that specifically says it's IR, but almost all incandescent light bulbs emit IR light.

If all you're doing is providing a nocturnal heat source than it should be fine.

yes mate its just for a heat source at night as my room is just a tat too cool without it, just wanted to make sure thanks
