| Sweet capture again Sowhon! They are truly one of the best specimen to own. Looks of a forest scorpion but requirements of a desert's. Congrats! | |

| @sowhon Nice capture bro. I think you already know. First one should be a female. 2nd one still need another moult to have the sexual dimorphism for accurate sexing. Hope you get a pair from them bro @DolbyR Cheers bud. Whats up in DolbyR's house tonight!! hahaha Sweet captures too. I love their coloration. Especially a freshly moulted H. tamulus. I know she's white but.. really gives an evil aura. Awesome | |

| Update..... My other B jacksoni has molted overnight. Completely and extremely awesome. 3 molts from 3 scorps in 1 week. My emps, on the other hand are still fattys, been about a month since they got this way. Should I attempt to place them into the water dish to speed it up, or just let it happen naturally? Temps are mid 80's during the day and high 70's at night. Humidity is steady at 83%. | |

| You can't speed it up. They'll molt when they feel it's the right moment. They can stay this way for few months. | |

| OK thanks man. I had read somewhere that someone put theirs in the water dish and they molted soon after. But I really do like the idea of waiting til they do it on their own. I do have to admit im liking the molted exo's that come of it though. Tough to figure out how I want to display them. | |

Usually people use water as an aid for a molting scorpion which is stuck within her exo-skeleton. And it's only a few drops of water near the affected parts sparingly... - lmiller wrote:

A pointer to share, a fresh exo-skeleton might still be soft and flexible, get it into position fast, once it hardens. The shape is fixed and it will be very very brittle.. I can't recall how many molt skin i broke when i've been meaning to preserve them.. lolz | |
