| So it's not a cake walk after 4i? I've heard that after you get them through 4i, we don't have to worry about them anymore. I guess that's not true! How did you help? | |

i damped a little volume of water to the tail to soften the exoskeleton and carefully remove it little by little. it's very delicate it took me an hour to remove all the shedskin.

| I just had 6 Andro's molt from 3i to 4i and I didn't get to see none of it. All 6 buried themselves and I didn't see a single scorpion for 2wks. then suddenly all but 1 has emerged. I figure he went in 4 to5 days after the others so he'll surface soon. Interesting note! I got a second group of 10 of 2i that I put in a button kit box and 1 has died during the molt above ground. Of the rest 4 molted above ground the other 5 have buried themselves. Go figure!!! | |

| I thought so. Another thing that I've noticed with Andro's, is the putting 1 pedipalp under the sand during an aggressive act. What's up with that? | |

| My bicolors usually stay burrowed, but they always molt on the surface. Maybe in your setup, the moisture is higher at the lower levels. | |

What does that beauty measure? 7i is the last molt on these? Or is there one more?

| My Iomachus politus moulted from 4i to 5i yesterday . Here it is before. It took food whilst looking like that ^^^ so I didn't have a clue it was in pre-moult. I just thought it was fat. Anyway, had a look in its tub yesterday and found this. Happy days, a sparkly 'new' scorpion lol. Just got to wait another 10 years until it moults again haha. These guys are unbeleivably slow growers!! | |
