yes sir! I think your comparison is spot on. They are greyish though.
From what I read, they are from size, venom and temperament exactly the same.
They are however, the most communal Andro species too, so I'm getting a big tank full of these!

I dont give them mice nono no thanks. They should be able to take it down, but I dont want to risk an injured scorpion, a mammal that suffers and indeed maybe some health issues from digesting warmblooded animals.

I think it would be ok, but its just the principle. I dont offer warmblooded prey.

Besides you are right, I have heard too that mice and stuff carry too much calcium content to be healthy for the scorpion...

Jamie, you are right exactly. Smells too.. I'm lazy so I dont want too much cleaning certainly not when 10 are lurking in a communal box... ready to sting "the intruder" when its too close.

The box is going to be 30 inches on 16 inches on 10 inches high.. but I'll play with caves and shelters and maybe some different ground levels. They should not attack each other or the big tweezers come between them

The only one keeping scorps? But dude, I have to drive quite a distance too to get them. Its in another country lol, but as you know.. all of europe is prolly as big as Texas or something. So borders dont count for much around here.

Yeah I still haven't met any one else that actually keeps scorpions other than a couple Emperors here and there. Plenty of people keeping tons of T's and reptiles, but no scorp folk.

Maybe one day when I'm not poor... That would be awesome!

Bex, snakes are cool, I kept one for a week as a favor to a friend, couple of months ago.
The only thing I don't like about them is what you have to feed them.

Lol you can'tputt me off snakes lol always loved them my dad had a huge corn snake and a gorgeous hog noses snake it used to curl up in my sleeve, wish he was still around to see my collection of creepys now he would love it he also had an emp a chili rose some gheko thing and strangely a rabbit indoors at one point lol
