| As I mentioned, I decided to get a flat rock scorpion instead of the desert hairy for now so I decided to fix up the tank! I really went all out on this one and spent about 2 + hours building this habitat. I bought a large piece of flagstone slate for $6 and broke it apart into a bunch of pieces to make different levels, ramps and hides in the cage. I filled it all in with sand and broke apart my old cactus bowl into smaller cactus groups. There are 3 really nice hide spots, + he can get way up top on the left and even on the right so he should have fun exploring this tank. I just need to figure out a place for a small water dish. Let me know what you guys think =) Looks ways better in person my pics always suck! Just for a before and after reference this was the old setup below:

| Looks great! Like the levelling. Flatrocks are however flat because they like to hide in SMALL places. Place which are ver narrow, if you can provide those too, even though you have some already.
I didnt know you could keep them on sand? I believe they like 70% humidity. Anyone know for sure around here?
Anyway, looks dope | |

| Thanks, if i get the flat rock i could make the spaces tighter just wasnt sure how "flat" they actually are. I still might do the desert hairy not 100 percent sure yet, but i think this setup could work for both.
I read several care sheets and they all said like sand/or dirt but I could be wrong. From what i read they also said around 70ish humidity, but i know the desert hairy needs very low humidity.

| Thanks guys, ill try and take some pics once it has a critter in it. I also just purchased a background wallpaper for the back of the tank to make the scorp feel more secure. Should make it look cooler too since it matches the decor. | |
