Setups look good, if a bit too damp -- just don't add any water to the reservoir for a while.

The first underside pic looks female if only from the small pectines.

exactly...mine are no where near docile enough to do that with, the last time i tried i got stung through the towel on my palm three times...it wasnt unbearable or anything, but it definitely had a weird tingle for three days and im not down for a round 2 with 2 scorpions this time

if thats a female than from the way they fight, theyre gonna be one dysfunctional couple...
no i dont have access to a scanner...its a travesty...

Either try the clear container or you could give this a go:

1) Turn the flash on your camera off, that's right off.
2) Shine a light through the glass at one end so that it comes in from the side and position it to shine on the scorpion.
3) Take a photo from the best angle where the light is on the scorpion but not interfering with the camera. I.E. Turn the camera slightly away from the direction of the light if need be.

Give that a go and tell me how you get on.

btw do your scorpions always wander about inside of the set up you have or did you drag them out so you could take pictures?

nope...
right after the sun goes down, i usually sit here waiting to hear there pinchers tap the glass...
as soon as i hear that, i usually get distracted by watching them...
besides, the hides are pretty deep, and im not reaching my hand in there to pull hem out if theyre resting

huh mine hardly come out. and if they come out only 1 will come out at a time. Not both of them.

mine both come out almost every night...
the only time my first hasnt come out on a night is the night after feeding it...
other than that, after dark, both of them are usually wandering around the tanks or trying hard as they might to crawl up the galss..lol

HEY! you never know someday they might actually crawl up that glass.. or so thats what they think.
