Anything can be handled.
But nothing should be handled.
That being said, P. cavimanus are very edgy in my experience. I've never dealt with H. spinifer, but other Heterometrus spp. are calm for a while but then also get pretty edgy and unpredictable.
(For the record, I handle my large H. longimanus for elementary school outreaches to show that scorpions aren't stingy-pinchy-monsters.)
