Another Emp Just Died.....

I don't know why my emps keep dieing !!

this was a perfectly healhy male earlier today !!

I seen him climbing the side of the glass today

and then I seen him half under the cork bark like he started to dig

and then I noticed he was in the same position for hours

and I touched him hes stiff !!!!

he was perfectly fine I don't know why he died !!

this is a picture of my emps current enclosure

the coco fiber substrate is about 4-5 inches deep, but none have burrowed in a few months

they used to burrow tho

I had just moved the tank into my living room (temp 75-85 degrees)

cuase they were in my bedroom for a while and the AC made the temp 70 degrees

but the dirt is moist and I mist 2-3 times a week

I don't understand why they keep dieing

it wasn't old age, the male that died just matured 9 months ago

I am wondering if its not warm enough. I had my tank 75 on one side and 85 on the other. One died and I didn't want to lose the other two. I got a heat lamp and the hot side is about 92 and the cold side is still about 75. I know people say 92 is too hot but my scorpions seem to love it. They spent almost all their time on the hot side and are much more active at night. I only rarely catch them on the cool side.

Perhaps the plants you added were sprayed with pesticides?

maybe , but I doubt it cuase they were sold at petco, for animals
