Scorpio Maurus? Empty
PostSubject: Scorpio Maurus?   Scorpio Maurus? Empty1/24/2009, 12:46 pm

I was told this was Scorpio Maurus, but seeing pictures of others mine seems to have much smaller palps without the dark tips, just a slight tinge.

Any ideas anyone?

^Beat me to it. That's what I'm thinking -- check out the pale intraocular triangle.

Better set it up where it can get some good burrows and offer a bit more humidity than you would for an adult.

H.Arizonensis is the correct answer.
Good luck on raising it.

Make sure not to let it be bone dry during molting times.

I think what eddy said is they key to helping this species, give it the option for humidity.

I.e, put a rock in and create a little deppresion under it, then spray under it evey couple of days to keep the humidity under it high.
