new scorpio maurus

Our 3 scorpio maurus just turned up glad they was sent with a heat pack as we had a few inches of snow overnight, gonna take pics as i open them.......this is a pic of the first one...(cant get very got pics for sexing atm unfortunatly will have to do it at a later date)




this is the second one...lol......scorpio maurus i think not???? its a Heterometrus mysorensis ....hmmmm why do we have this?

messed up our order meant to be 3 scorpio maurus... payed £15 each and that odd one is only worth like a fiver!

he should send ya another free of charge .

just contacted him annd he said ooops someone else must of got our scorpio maurus (gonna be fun for someone who is set up for forest species)...we are lucky to have a lot of spare stuff floating about so we can house this little guy, he said we can keep it and either have a refund or wait a few weeks (as he is away) and he will send us another scorpio maurus ..yay def gonna get another one

so we just got a free scorp...better update our sig again lol

That's some nice scorpions, and I think it's definately Scorpio Maurus! Looks just like he ones I had! Funny they messed it up and send you that dark one Typical pet-stores! Would have expected them to try to tell you that "No, you are wrong! That scorpion IS a scorpio maurus in a darker morph " lol!

lol yep but hes going away to egypt so cant have it till the 14th dec but we also decided to buy a swammadamii to go with it lol so on 14th we be getting another 2 scorps hehehe when will it ever end

it never does lol , id have a lot more if i still had my flat.

Ahh I miss my little S. maurus palmatus. They were always pissed off! Move the container just a little and they ran around jerking their metasomas and claws in the air, so cute!

I'm sure you'll love em Congrats!

they are both just sat in a corner of there tanks atm thats all they have done since we put them in not gone in the burrows i made or walked about or anything yet
