| Lost my P. Boreus today  It ate earlier in the week and drank from a droplet I sprayed on the side of the enclosure two days ago. I don't believe it was full grown, so possibly a molt issue...not real chubby...no apparent cause I can see. It died in the threat pose with the tail curled up over it's back...not out flat behind it. Strange. | |

I keep the scorpion room about 80F during the day, it might be a bit warmer in the container. I'm going to get a probe thermometer...I need a more accurate measure of each enclosure instead of just ambient room temp. The specimen turned brown...this is a shot I took when I examined it...definitely a change in coloration.  | |

| I'll definitely get more of these in the future. This is the only species native to my state. It happens, but I hate when it does. | |
