| Finally! I Was just startin to think she was just ill tempered with lasers attached to her head! I just got back from a meeting and went to me critters and finally what ive been waitin for BIRTH!! Ive got a count of about 7 on her back and one more looks as tho its coming out!! My other female passed on yesterday and I gues Beefcake noticed how sad we were and decided to give birth!! HAHA its me first batch ever ive never seen it before its so freakin cool!! One problem tho, like I said I started to think she wasnt gravid so last night I put 2 crickets in her enclosure im scared they may affect the scorplings, and I dont want to reach in and stress her out by grabbing them Im gonna put a piece of lettuce or somethin on the oposit corner to hopefully snag them, or at least keep them distracted while she's in process. Any other ideas or suggestions would be helpful. Im so stoked tho!! Ill post pictures in a bit. And probly come up with more questions if I cant find any answers.. But anyways the Easter bunny gone done good this time!!! | |

| the crickets shouldn't be a problem. scorpions are extra - protective of their young, on wrong move on the crickets' behalf and it'll be dead. you could also put in a capful of water and they might drown.
andyway.. great news about the scorps! we hope you a large brood.

| I wondered that!!! In your other post I nearly said "is your other one gravid" but didnt! I thought it could have been a pre birth death, making sure there was noone else there to harm her young!
Ive had a pandinus imperator female kill her tank mate 4 months before birth! But my het female was happy to birth with another tank mate even under the same hide!
Congratulations Also the crickets wont be a problem. she will just crush them when they get to her and she will kill them, its not a problem. xxx | |

| Welp a story is no fun without pictures so heres a couple The majority are the same, I dont know why I take so many but These are my favorites so far.. Plus the camera isnt the greatest This is when I first got home and notice the little bundle of Joy! I immediately went to the gas station and got a mini prime time cigar.. Rum Flavored to celebrate the moment properly.. In this picture you can see the babys underneath and my male emp watching from the otherside of the wall.. And here you can see one on each side crawling up on moms back to join the others! Little Blurry but I liked this one when the lil guy crawled on her head like he's the captain | |

| THese next 2 weeks are gonna drag lol I cant get a good enough count, but I can easily see 15, but I swear theres more.. Ill count 15 then ill count 20 its hard to tell with white blurs and black dots The ma ended up eatin the cricket the next day she had her brood. So I think thats good. Is there anything I should keep doing besides ignoring her? Water? Food? Spray? Or just nata thing? | |
