a friend had this scorpion come into his rescue center the other day an ive got no clue as to what it is so told him i would try an find out what it is an what care it need's

Looks to me like an Opistophthalmus Species. Keep slightly moist. They like to burrow and are rather fiesty. They hiss and Ive had one jump off my hand before. The specimen you have looks to be in premolt. They are a hardy genus/species.

this one reminds me of a scorpio maurus but the metasoma says otherwise

thank's just been having a search online an it look's very similar to a Opistophthalmus glabrifrons but the abdomen colour is slightly different so will go an have a closer look once it has moulted

It is a Paleocheloctonus pauliani. A small Madagascan species.

Keep it on a dry substrate with a moist corner to provide an area with a little humidity. Temperature wants to be in the high 20c's to low 30c's during the day, with a slight drop at night. Provide it with plenty of narrow crevices between bits of rock or bark.

Well I was wrong, again. Looks very similar to Opistophthalmus Species
