| hey guys
I caught my scorpion cleaning itself and noticed for the first time that it was secreting liquids from its mouth. It continued to secret the transparent liquid and clean all the while. Does anyone know what the substance is composed of? And why this liquid is used in the cleaning?
Thanks. | |

All mine do this and as Chrome has said, they drink a considerable amount of water before hand. I have seen my T's do something similar. | |

| I have noticed my Iurus and Calchas scorpions doing that, have a good drink and spit it out on themselves, using their telson as a back scrubber as well | |
