stupid death

my friend is a (insert expletive) he bought two scorpions yesterday one a pandinus imperator and one a hadrurus arizonensis
my moron of a friend bought these from a pet shop i dont know (therefore not a good one) and he was told that he could keep them housed together !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
anyway now he has two dead scorpions the pandinus imperator tore the hadrurus arizonensis in half but also got stung right in the face apparently so now there dead and i am banning sed friend from scorpions, this is why i hate so many pet shops, but its also why i hate people who go out and by things without either having a good knowledge of them to begin with or atleast reserching them alot before hand

all in all my friend is a moron!

the first time one of my emps died i burried it in a lil shoebox i wouldv been kool to keep as a specemin but id feel weird doing that to a pet, it sucks that one of urs died, i just cant beleive how stupid the pet shop was i mean it aint even a rookie mistake its just blatant stupidity

that shop seariously needs someone to give a good talking to them!
I keep telling my "good" shop that the shop is too humid to have their "desert hairy" in a humid room without a heat lamp and in a cricket container and with a water bowl!
Some people never ever learn!

yeah me too like i said he has now been banned temporarily, hes cming to mine this eekend to see how they should be kept im gunna tell him everything i know n i have many many books im gunna make him read.

Be sure to smack him upside the head a few times and ask him what he was thinking.

i will im gunna give him this web address aswell that way he can always find help if he decides to get another, i had a good hour long rant at him on the phone earlier, then i decided to let off cuz he sounded upset, i guess he didnt really know better hes never had any exotic before, its no excuse tho theres plenty of info out there

It's unfortunate that many people don't do a lot of research when they get them. I had multiple scorps but read up on keeping them together, etc. Though i made a few mistakes on my emp's habitat in the beginning, i corrected it soon.

The problem is when you go to pet shops and start telling them stuff about what they are doing wrong and stuff they look at you like you dont know anything about anything, like when i told a pet shop that the scorpion they was selling was illegal in Denmark. So they should take it off the shelf.. the dude keept saying it was a Hadogenes sp from madegascar when it was clearly a Hottentotta i really dislike pet shops..

lol i know what u mean a pet shop near me that thankfully has closed down now, had a tank that was only bout 20 inch long n 15 inch wide with about 8 hadrurus arizonensis and they had started to eat each other and they didnt care when i told them about it, im glad theyv closed i think there licence got revoked muhuhahaha

the only thing i dont understand about all this is how pt shops so often get away with misinforming people i mean does nobody actually do anything to check them, we have the rspca and i have reported a shop before and nothing was ever done about it, so i did it again and again and just kept getting told the shop was fine (the shop i reported had 12 hatchling pogona vitticeps in one small tank the thermometer said the temp was 75 degrees faranheit under basking spot waaaaaay to low for a beardie and they had no uv bulb) how is that FINE,

ps i hate pet shops with a passion, and yet i want to run my own lol

lol iv found a good pet shop near me now they have a gaboon viper and death stalker scorpions, unfortunatly id need a dwa licence to own them

That's why I'm glad that I live in the US. It costs nothing extra to own any scorpion or invert and we don't have to go through the license crap

yea it sucks altho im happy cuz the pet shop i found near me is excellent the bloke has a gaboon viper and some diamond back ratllers he let me hold the gaboon viper it was kinda scary to start with lol after all there fangs are the biggest of all snakes 2 n a half inches

In Denmark they have turned all these to illegal and your cant get a permit for them..
