| I have read a couple of places online that say if you put the patato bugs in your yank they will help clean up yhe left over cricket body parts. Any opinions? All are welcome | |

| Yup, isopods definitely help keep tropical tanks clean.
However, isopods are generally opportunistic feeders, especially the one's that are quick and do not roll into balls (i.e. the "rolly pollies"). That means a freshly molted 1st or 2nd instar is at risk. From what I've read, the "rolly polies" are the safest to have in your cage. I use Armadillidium sp. in my enclosures.
If your scorpion is an adult, you can use pretty much any species of isopod in your tank.
