| Hello I have 2 scorpions for now Heterometrus Spinifer I think it is male, but i am not so sure It is about 10 cm long I have a small problem with it, it doesn't want to eat for 2-3 weeks for now, before that, he ate every sunday. I got him a month ago. What can be problem? Rhopalurus Junceus It is unsexed 2-3 cm long How can i provide water for it? | |

| Nice scorpions. R. junceus is a bark scorpion, so it should have a vertical piece of bark in it's tank. You can offer water by using a small plastic water bottle cap as a water dish.

| Not eating is normal behavior. Don't worry about it, scorpions will sometimes go months without food. (My emp went over six months without food once.) Just offer food once a week or so. | |

| when i put them together, they were very interested for each other. after a few seconds it looked like they want to mate, they crossed chellas for a few seconds edit: i am not 100% sure if it is h. spinifer :S | |

edit: i am not 100% sure if it is h. spinifer :S The one I first thought was a H. spinifer is in fact a H. petersii. Sorry about the incorrect identification. One of the best ways to tell the difference between the two species is the internal tubercle on the patella. There is a discussion on this on your Unknown Heterometrus thread. | |
