Tank redesigned...

Hey all

just dug up the remaining emp out of the large tank (unfortunatly his mate died about a week ago ....so anyway i need to pinch some substrate out of there as our mysorensis tank suddendly had a load of mold appear in it so had to chuck it all away,,,thought while im digging i may as well get the male out and have a play with the tank...still not too sure what to put back into it really...options are as follows......

1 Put the mum in with the 15 babies in the large tank
2 put the male and female back in (which means removing mum from babies) and leaving the babies in the little tank.
3 put the adults in the small tank togther to get them breeding again and put all the babies in the big one ??

What would you guys do?...the way im looking at it these babies are gonna grow quite big quite quick and would prly be better in the large tank, the small tank is only about a 10g so dunno if two adults will be ok in it...im sure they would but just cant decided what to do lol

2 or 3. I would put the adults in the small one, and if it looks like it's too tight, move them in the big one. They'll probably mate even in that one.

Yeah, a loada young uns would look good IF you ever see them.lol.

How many blocks did you use? I'm about to re-do the salamanders tank with about the same amount of coco because its the same exo.

I'd be tempted to get all the adults in there and get them mating again, the babies will just get lost in there, I'd be paranoid some would struggle to find food and might take a fancy to a freshly molting sibling

lol didnt use any extra blocks thats it with less substrate lol

Oh yeah, duh, I'd just read that before posting as well. Got a load of bricks but was just wondering.

Not decided yet but ata guess nearlly ten blocks went into this tank originally lol how ur lik empy doing is it missing mummy yet lol

Aw shucks! Week away was nice cheers! We had a good time and a few good fish, was lucky with the weather too. Still sorting through the pics.

well we decided it best to put the two adults in the large tank togethr and the starting mating within an hour of being put in...awesome or what lol
