| Finally finished my new 40 Gallon- 36"L x 18"W x 16"H emp tank. Two large cork bark hides Moss - might add more 1 Rock Fake plants from craft store, tried to find very jungle looking ones Water Dish - will add rocks in it so they cant drown 4 blocks worth of eco earth coco fiber substrate I have to test and see if my heat lamp will damage the thin screen top of this zilla critter cage or not and I also need a piece of glass for the top and a digital thermometer. What do you guys think? | |

| Looks good for a hide oriented Emp tank. I'm sure they'll take to it no problem.
A couple of Street Trash guarantees and suggestions:
Your heat lamp won't damage the screen top. Glass might though. When I suggested glass from picture frames I was referring to setting it on top of the after market "screen" reptile lids. The sort that are basically black coated steel and far more sturdy. For this application plexi might be your best option, or cut the side out of a sterilite tub to la across part for humidity. Just don't put your lamp directly on that.
You don't need rocks in your waterdish unless the scorpions are small instars. If that's is the case I discourage you from putting them in such a large enclosure just yet. Adult scorpions are quite able to get out of a small pool of water, especially emperors.
That is all. Good work! I love setting up terrariums! | |

| Thanks for the suggestions. I think im going to cut the plexi glass a bit shorter than the tank length so that there is room on one side for the heat lamp and some ventilation. | |

| Perfect. You'll want exposed screen on both ends of the lid for proper cross flow of air. | |
