| You have no idea how fast they are until you see one in real life. Make sure you have a very escape proof enclosure. Good luck with them. Also, do you know what sub-species it is? | |

| Yeah they're fast. They also have a +100 agility exoskeleton.
But really just give it a bed of weed and a lighter haha.
They do hide all the time and I sometimes have to dig mine up to feed it.

| Bwaahh I have no experience with them, but better to get bit by these than to get stung by any Buthid I might think. These are just big worms with legs lol.
Ofcourse gonna try breeding some, although they're not too easy to breed so I heard? Anyone experience with that?

| Pluto, you happen to be buying the only pede contributed to human deaths, they are more than just big worms with legs. I would rather get stung by a Tityus than get bit by an adult Scolopendra subspinipes. (I would rather not get stung or bitten by either of them) | |

| Thats why I asked the sub-species. S. subspinipes mutilans are harmless, but normal subspinipes are pretty venomous. | |

| Street, as for sexing, I just put them together when I feel the time is right. Will see if one makes a spermweb before. If both do, I'm fooked. If none do, I'm fooked too. But at least I'll know when I join them. Ill be ready with my gloves to pull them apart lol.
The only death was from a 7yo girl that got bitten on the head and was already pretty weak. But thanks for the warning, I'm learning already!
Adult people die yearly by big numbers by scorpion stings, be it Androctonus, Parabuthus, LQ, Hottentotta tamulus, Centruroides or Tityus species. So no, I dont underestimate any of them.
If one gets naughty I feed it to a Pt. They're warned!
Either way. I'm not into them that much, but I want to learn and take good care of them. Even as ugly as they are, they deserve respect and good care for being fascinating critters.
Good to scare my nephews away too. I hate kids.
