| Sad pictures won't work at work while I'm on lunch! I will have to look when I get home, congrats though I bet she's a beaut!
And Bex i dont' know much about pedes either but I do believe they are one of the more dangerous ones. Don't think they can kill but I believe it's a heck of a lot of pain, potentially for days. I'm sure Canth can answer that better but I believe the Subspinipes are one of the more dangerous species of the genus too. | |

| I can't say this for all Millipedes as I'm just scratching the surface of the pede world myself but I believe Milli's are harmless other than the fact that they can excrete a liquid that can be bad if ingested so you need to wash your hands after handling. I have read a couple of things too that some species of milli's secretion will also act as a dye and can stain your skin or clothing or what not. I've been looking into some milli's for my son and I wanted a few centipedes for my collection. I'm hopefully getting some S. Polymorpha in the next few months. Centipedes seem to have similar enough care but milli's are a bit different and they eat rotting leaves and wood and am trying to see how much work it will be to care for them in addition to my collection already :/ Canth I'd love some of your input on this as I know you are getting into pedes pretty heavily correct? | |

| Oh yeah, about those legs Bex, Centi's have 1 pair of legs per segment and milli's have 2 pair per segment And Canth, what a gorgeous pede! Is it about 6 or so inches? | |

| iitomodachi1 pretty much summed it up! All centipedes are venomous, millipedes secrete a poisonous substance to ward off predators. The species of centipede I have is more potent than others and I certainly don't want to get bitten! This thing gave me quite the fright, running up the forceps after I attempted to poke it out of its delicup. Crazy little thing lol and yeah she's about 6-7 inches. I say she in hopes that it's a gravid female | |

| Is that why the forceps are laying in the container? Just kidding, that would have giving me a scare too! Especially when just bringing her home! I hope she is a gravid female too! If so and you needed to get rid of some babies, I'm here to help you out! Ahahaha exactly! I shouted a few choice words and dropped them asap! Don't worry man, if she ends up with eggs I won't keep it a secret lol | |

| Very beautiful specimen. Imo, they're no more then pure evil when the distinct "Crunching sound" was heard as they feed on a cricket/roach with their stunning attack speed | |
