| dry? eeek we got the little one in a soil/ver mix *was given to us* which had a good spray! humid in there is the word in the rosher box!!! ok. I do have a question. the b emilia is meant to be a year old. Its about 3 inches including legs. the b Albo have been told is a year old....seriously...it cant be? its about the size, maybe smaller then a coke bottle lid! Also the dude kept telling me the tarantula was a bohemi in the shop! I was like "that is an emilia! look at the legs, look at the head"...and Adam made me out to be a fool and fighting with the man! I come home, looking online and it was the emilia in the shop and not a bohemi! GRRRR "Silly young girl" they must say about me So...I hope it is a b. Albo! it is currently burried xxxxxxx | |

| A little humidity won't hurt -- ask the "true" tarantula folks for help on that, though (I speak from only limited experience).
It's entirely possible for it to be that old and that small -- brachys grow VERY slowly. | |

| My fiancée has a Brachypelma albopilosum. She got it as her first T, and it has behaved very well. The only drawback with them, are that they tend to digg a lot when they are young. So if you try to create a beautiful enclosure(like my fiancée tried to), the T will presumably destroy everything to make itself comfortable.
After a molt they are realy gorgeous with their long reddish, creased hairs on the their black undercoat.

| Flicking hairs isn't necessarily a sign of a molt -- Lori had an A. geniculata that flipped over as soon as it molted and flicked hairs at her. | |

| I know its not a sign on a moult...I think he was just using the excuse for "agression" in the tarantula. personally he just needs to leave the damn thing alone! He keeps trying to feed it too! for the past two weeks its just killed the crickets! Ive told him not to feed or attempt to feed for at least 2 weeks now...I think he's listening to me now *could have saved 4 crickets from a pointless death but would he listen to me...noooooo* xxxxx | |

We are running out of room! good thing we are moving into our house soon! EDIT! the B. Emilia is 5 cms with leg span and the A Avicularia is about 2 cms. havent measured the albo yet

| A. avicularia is cute. I think he should start checking out the T forum on AB (nothing wrong with this place, but they're more T-oriented). | |

| He did but they didnt reply and would rather fight with each other! So there was a reason for Cecil being so grumpy! We came home from work to see him/her next to a fresh moult! Sweet! xxxxxxxx | |
