| Totally agree with you. And they are so cute when you walk around, they follow you with their head The madagascan marbled mantids are real rogues when it comes to sneaking up on their prey | |

| Temperature: 22-29 celsius Humidity: 60-70%. Spray a side of the enclosure so that they can drink. Food: Feed them all they can eat every 2-3 days. I feed mine almost every day. Its better to use something that holds humidity better than paper towels in the bottom Put in some branches or plastic plants so that they can easily climb to the top. They grow to around 5 cm and they are the most communal mantid species. They sit and wait for their prey more than run after it, and wont go to the bottom of the enclosure to take food, so flying or climbing food is preferable. If you follow these tips you will have healthy, happy mantids Pluto As adults they live typically for around a year. | |

| Yeah. I use the same substrate I would use in a forest scorpion tank If you do use paper, make sure to never let it be dry for over a day | |

| Ok, so one of the small ones managed to drown in a drop of water.. The other one had almost drowned too but I managed to rescue it. Lesson learned: Do NEVER let there be any drops on the side of the tank when spraying such small scorpions enclosures..! Damnit =/ | |

| They're smaller than a drop of water. It couldn't get out because of the water membrane. | |
