You 100% sure that some have got eaten? I've heard swammerdamis giving broods as small as 10-12.

I am absolutely not sure at all what so ever

I feel pretty lucky tho as they have grown to their second molt without me even knowing about them They were pretty hungry. I tossed 20ish small b. lateralis and they went crazy in the cave. Some of them with up to 4 crickets at the same time, mouths and claws full. Thats how I caught them actually. They got balder and balder and walked further and further out of the cave and i snatched them by their tail one by one ^^

The last ones were ninjas and as soon as I came close they teleported back to the cave. MAN they can be fast..

Tie an appropriate sized feeder to a string, let it down the cave and do some fishing

Mom ate the bebies that were left with her I think. Can't see any.

Still have 12 left tho and they are quick and healthy

The mom did actually not eat the babies, saw at least 5 running around in there today, en most of them are twice as big as the ones i took out! What the hell?

Did a little digging and actually dug up 13 more skorplings so all in all i have 23. Okay, a friend got 10 so now i have 13 left.

There are around 20-25 roaches in there who will all be eaten within a week. Need to keep the skorps fed up so they dont eat eachother xD

Oh, you have no idea....... H. swammerdami are almost impossible to find in the U.S. I had a scorpling a while ago, (my avatar) but it had a bad molt and died a week or so later.

I will trade you all my swammerdamis for some of those god damn cyriocosmus you have over there!

for ages now...!

Luckily i've found a guy in germany who is willing to sell me 0.0.5 perezmilesi for an ok price:) Now i just need the rest!!

Already have 0.2 c. elegans, 0.1 perezmilesi and 0.1 venezualensis. All mature.

I know someone who is breeding some H. swammerdami, (and other Heterometrus species) but H. swammerdami have gestation periods of over a year, so it's going to be a while before I get some from him.

Been a while since I got any new scorps now. Today I got 0.3.0 Liocheles australiasae One adult (possibly gravid) female, one 2i and one 3i Cant wait for them to start reproducing!

About time I got a new scorp, don't you think?

On thursday I got this little bugger

Liocheles australiasae, possibly gravid
Also got a 2i and a 3i scorpling

Yesterday I got 5 Centruroides nitidus "Baharona" too Can't wait for them to grow up and have kids! I'm planning on a HUGE communal with 25-50 young that will grow up together!


I also mated 3 t's yesterday. Grammostola rosea, Cyriocosmus elegans and Holothele incei

So now I have gravid rosea, elegans, incei and p. metallica

Be sure to get some pics of the Centruroides.

I will. Getting 5 more in a couple of days in exchange for 5 of my holothele slings
