| They eat decomposing leaf and wood. They also eat soft fruits and vegetables.
I use decomposing leaf and wood litter as substrate and i give them some beetle jelly and fish flakes in a bowl.

| Thanks Oscars are still juvenile so the largest they are able to eat are Blatta lateralis cockroaches. Oscars will eat anything that fit in their mouths I will never feed them any live animals except insects or fish tho. | |

| I had 4. One got killed and now 2 of the oscars are ganging up on the other one so i guess that means they are a couple, wich is good, but not for the lonely one. So i have to move him to another tank. Now they live in a 72 liter tank but we have at least 10 tanks from 25-700 liters so we have plenty of space ;P
I completely agree with the snake thing. Allthough i wouldn't feed a snake live mice either because at some point they will always eat dead. All animals will, if they are hungry enough. I've seen a cow eat a dead rabbit, not because it was so hungry but because he was appearently lacking some minerals or something.

| Great news! My male H. mysorensis is now able to open both of his claws again My theory is that he didnt have enough energy to use the muscles in his claws. After several weeks with high humidity and 23-27 degrees and an occasional cricket he seemed a little better. I thought to myself it could maybe be some kind of nourishment problem so I crushed a big fat cockroach and gave it to him. He ate like his life was depending on it and the day after he was fully able to open his claws! Now he's back to pinching and crushing his prey. I find this very interesting and actually hope I get a scorp who's unable to open his claws, so that I can test this theory. Soon I will try breeding him with my female | |

| Another update ^^ This time on the beetles. Was gonna give a friend of mine some of my pachnoda marginata grubs, but it was harder than expected to find any grubs. Almost all of them have made a cocoon ^^ My Eudicella aethiopica have also started making cocoons and to my excitement some of them have done it up against the sides of the container. Now I can see the whole transformation This one had come pretty far already and has started getting legs and some color. A little hard to see cause he's in the corner but.. This one made the cocoon recently. | |

| Got some new emps today along with 5 Holothele incei. The emps were fighting alot and stung eachother. They went pretty crazy and I felt like I had to separate them. What should I do about? Do you think they will get used to eachother or what? Pictures coming tomorrow | |

| Depends on what species you get. I find most of them extremely easy to keep Only downside is that they dont live long. They are very productive tho | |
