Help is our scorp eating its scorplings?

got our new camera today a canon 550d yay but still trying to get used to it...the lense that comes with it is just a standard thing which is okish but not really good for clear close up pics so have already decided the next thing we need pretty soonish is a macro lense lol...

also got some of the male one we have so thought i may as well stick then here...

and yeah any day now really its a week since they was born so fingers crossed want to catch them molting and stuff...J ive tried emailing you some pics of those other scorps but its moaning at me saying they are too big lol so making a hotmail album or some rubbish

congrats on the new camera. I got my SX130 yesterday, still trying to get used to the settings for good macro pics.
Even in auto mode it makes way better pics than my old one, so I'm really glad. Just need a small tripod now. Mine is huge and can't really get it close enough to my tanks.

Give it some days, for them to harden up. After that, they should be good to go on pinheads

Apart from being fully florescent under black-light, estimated time they start eating from the day they dismount could range from 1-2 weeks.
Feeding them "cricket drumstick" or occasional chopped-up mealworms will do also

Cool thanx will keep you updated think we are gonna take mum away and try them all together what do you think? It's that or keep them all separate bit I'd prefer to house them together.

Great news Bex, they look great and glad they're doing well. Nice photos aswell

sure looks cooler to house them together! And toward adulthood they will be more "social". I do have to that say for each personal evolution/development separating them might be better.

I prefer communal setup as well. Less hassle and more fun but there are slight chances for cannibalism.
You might wish to consider keep at least 5 of them individually(to ensure future breeding) and 10 communally. My 2cents

Well we have 3 tiny 3i that we got the other day which are all separate and have the 2 adults, want to get the female with the male again asap in the hope of her having another lot lol

I have yes from when I housed them, just sorting them out now as it goes but I figured you'd seen 'em pretty well I'll post 'em up soon. Cheers again for those I can't decide whether to put them together, they're separate at the moment to be on the safe side.

It's a tough one isn't it as they are basically Living communally in the wall so can't see why they can't be kept Together with enough hides

They can, no problem. Just basically keep an eye on the weaker ones, so they get food too.. that is the only negative side of the communal story when growing up.
