A. mauritanicus pics (finally up!)

My two A. mauritanicus came on Saturday, but the camera wasn't here. But now it is here!

This first pic is for a size reference -- it's in a small Kritter Keeper. (This scorp is slightly smaller than the other.)

If the pedipalp notches are present when they're immature, then I have two females, but looking at the pectines I'd wager I have two males.

And Eddy, I already asked Thaedion and he's up for it when they mature. I also talked to someone on VL who said that until the notch on the pedipalps becomes visible, it's pretty much a tossup on this species. So we shall see!

....but...you have a long hair...on your light carpet...just there....at least pic it up and put it in the bin before it spins around one of your toes and feels...gross!

I did see the lovely scorpion but then my eye was drawn to the long long hair....I wish I could reach into the picture and pick it up and put it in the bin....
