I was a little bummed after lossing my baby A. mauritanicus and mixing up the orders I sent the one I wanted to to either IHeart or Thaedion. But right before I left I decided to check on my A. mauritanicus that are actually housed together (poorly... i'm setting up a nice big enclosure) and saw one of them shaking. . I decided to sex them properly and I have a breeding pair. Hope they're bumpin' uglies as we speak err write. -Eddy

So did you just note the notch in the chela? Or was there some other characteristic you saw as well?

Well I didnt' know which scorps I was keeping untill I decided which ones were going to you guys the only one I really wanted for myself you got because I lost the one I was sending to you. No particular reason just kinda bonded with it. So I never bother sexing the ones I had. You can tell there is a differance in pectine count as well as the notch in the male. Didn't bother counting pectined though. -Eddy
