Help with heating small tank Empty
PostSubject: Help with heating small tank   Help with heating small tank Empty12/11/2010, 10:33 am

So Im designing an exo terra 12x12x12 for a Desert Hairy. Its going to have3.5-4 inches of sand and ex clay on the bottom and a background on the back, possible a little on the sides. My questions is, where would the best place be to add the heat source and which heat source should I use?
Its 12x12x12 because it fits in my ikea cube shelving with about an inch of space on the top so a big bulb is something I would like to avoid. Yeah it seems obvious I need a heat pad but maybe theres another option. Or a recommended heat pad and size. I live in a colder part of the north so I cant rely on my ambient temps in the winter (unlike our summers that get very hot).
