| Hey guys, I'm sorry to bother everyone again, but I had a weird incident last night and I can't find any information with a quick google search on it. I'm pretty sure it came from one of the crickets, but I found a very slender, white worm that was just chilling out under my scorp's water dish. It was about one millimeter long, and when I went to grab it with the tongs it slithered away rather quickly. I inspected the kricket keeper and found half of a cricket, like literally eaten in half. I couldn't find any parasites online other than the infamous mind control worm, so I'm at a loss. I have released the rest of the crickets into the wild behind my house, and I am going to buy my crickets at Petsmart from now on; they seem cleaner. If anyone knows what in the world it was, I would really appreciate the help, as usual. Thanks guys! | |

| Good point man, but if it was the one worm thingy, I grabbed it with the tongs and burned it with a lighter, then flushed it, so it's definitely dead, lol. I will continue to monitor the tank and look for more, but in the meantime I really hope someone else replies with the same issue. Thanks for your reply, Mikey | |

| I literally just saw the same thing in my Emp tank. I had a dead cricket or two, but I was also thinking that they could be baby superworms/mealworms. I had a few worms in a dish one night. One of the babies ate one and the rest escaped. I fund them when I rearranged the tank. but now finding the little white worms. I pulled out the two I saw. | |

| thats why i stick with crickets and baby anoles (i dont care if you have an issue with the fact i feed them anoles, its what i do...if you dont have a problem, well, youre cool in my book)
ive never used the worms because i dont wanna feed my scorps anything fattening...

| I fed an anole that was roughly 3 inches body length to my emps when I had just 3 and the one I believe just got knocked up had grabbed a hold of it after 2 days of it being in the tank, she ate from roughly 5:30pm est to oh Idk, 10am the next day. Then she started eating crickets. I figured with the size of the anole they'd all have a feast. but nope she was greedy | |

| lol my 2 female emps will eat 12 large crickets to themselves (6 for each) or 2 3-4 inch anoles each....
but i only feed mine every 10 to 14 days...so theyre always chasing whatever i drop in there at the end of 2 weeks =)
