| Hey guys, so... I think that my emp Shadow is molting. Now, I say I think because I've never seen it before.... I've heard it looks kinda messed up, but seriously it looks like she has been squished or something. I'm kind of freaking out. I lifted her up just a little to see and it seems that most of her thorax is outside of this.. shell. But it looks really strange, also it looks like there might be mold on top of the dead exoskeleton.... I don't know, but like I said I'm kind of freaking out.
With all of that said, does anyone have any pictures of their emp molting, or can anyone direct me to some pics on the web. I can't take any because I don't have a camera or else I would just post some. Please help as soon as possible. Thank you forum.

| I found some excellent pics of scorps molting in this forum somewhere and you should be able to find it if you search it. It looks very strange but it should work out unless you dont have adequate humidity then there might be complications. remember that they dont move very much in this time so dont worry, just be patient and just see what happens. youve got to think, these animals have survived for years and years doing it themselves in the wild, if youve done everything right in your enclosure your scorp should do fine. | |
