| Exo-terra = Exo-terrible. And that would have been me "Heat" by "ThermoMat" or "Heat Mat Habistat" by "eurorep" (Doesn't mean that you need a thermostat with it) I have several of each of these and they all work perfectly on glass vivariums | |

I agree, but the heat mat I got gave off next to no heat, very disappointing.

| thats ok it doesnt need extreme heat just be warm. Like if you were to leave a towl out in the sun and when you went back 30min later, how that towel would be warm but not hot. Thats what you want. Not something too hot to make lots of steam but just warm the ground. | |

| It doesn't matter what size you get as they all give the same temps. Its just that the bigger the mat, the larger th area covered.
For example, on one of my tanks I have a heat mat covering about 60% of the back side.
On two others, I have heat mats that are slightly larger than the entire back side itself and they do great as well.
If anything, you want one slightly too big rather than slightly too small.

Do you know if plugs from England work in Canadian outlets? I'm afraid not, no. I would assume they do but I can't say for certain.

| nope, your scorpion will move out of the way if it's too hot. If you're concerned about too much heat, place your hand there to check. | |
