My Emps second wind

My first Emp Muerta was kind of being sluggish and not eating well. She was always wondering. Well I was pimping her cage and decided that I would at a male for her. Put her in there and then him shortly after. Well Friday was feeding day and she ate two crickets quite agressively and so did the male. I don't know if it was her new enclosure or if it is her new spunky mate or a combination of the two, but she is very active and happy.

I wonder, was there any change in temperature involved?

Her name is Muerta and there was no temperature chance. I did finally make it a false bottom. I was tired of keeping up with just cocofiber and no false bottom. The humidity has always been good but I was building a false bottom for my hentzi setup so I thought I'd better do her's too. Both of the emp scorps are very active. The male burrows like crazy. A little too much. There is over 6 inches of substrate before the rocks and he burrowed all the way to the bottom. He somes out all the time and usually stays at the mouth of his burrow with the female. I guess its nature. I need to get some pics of his pectines to verify his sex, but he has huge pectines and large pectine teeth.
