Another emp question

i dont know if my emperor scorpions are males or females but one of them looks like an adult to me (i could be wrong) but it is pretty big and my other emperor scorpion is much smaller. the very first day i introduced them together, they never did fight at all? they still dont fight.. i had 2 hides in the beginning but they both always just stayed in 1 hide so i decided to remove the other hide to free up more space in the tank. i mean, its a good thing that my emperor scorpions are not fighting but does that mean that they are both females or something? and its not that they're not aggressive because if i ever try to pick up the little one he will always get ready to try and sting me.. the bigger one was living in a community when i bought it but the little one wasnt living in a community.

if there not fight its possible that they both are females OR they both are still young like you said and are used to being with others. My 2 fought a little bit but only for about 15 seconds then they were fine together because they both came from groups before. You can tell if there or sub by the color of there telson( the stinger ball). If its a yellow/white color there sub and if its a dark red/brown color then they are full .

hahaha ok then i guess the bigger one is an adult cause i think its pretty big bout 5 inches? im assuming though because i never really did take an accurate measurement. but the stinger is reddish blackish and the little ones stinger is light. i think that the big one just doesnt even bother to fight.. but i was just wondering if leaving only 1 hide would be ok since they dont fight? do i have to put in another hide just incase they do fight?

Naa dude if they fight you should have about 3 hides. I gave my 2 three hides and they prefer to just sit on top of each other and stay together...

i wouldnt worry about them stinging you, thats a final resort to a lot of antagonizing...
you're probably gonna have to take pics of or get a good look at the pectines to determine sex.
what color are their stingers, that can usually determine where at in age they are?

they dont fight at all actually, the only thing they ever do is try to climb up the wall of the tank or sit at the entrance of their hide. or just walk around the tank or eat. ive never seen them fight once. ive seen them fall on top of each other and ive also seen the little one getting into the defensive mode but nothing ever really happens because the big one just ignores him. the big one's stinger is reddish black. and the little ones stinger is more of a bright yellow.

if they never fight at all then is it ok to just have 1 hide in the tank? and the hide is pretty big inside as well.. and it also has 3 holes that the scorpions can enter and leave from..

yeah, the one hide is alright if theres no fighting...
the big ones full adult...
the little ones not fully mature (i think sub-adult)

if they never fight and show no signs of fighting, i wouldnt worry at all about it...
id worry more about figuring out what sex they are...

They'll probably be alright, but i'd always have an extra hide just in case. Technically, you are supposed to have two hides per scorp

Yeah 2 hides per one but i mean i only have 2 hides and have 2 scorps. They NEVER use the other hide. Always together. At this EXACT moment, ones on top of the other and there sitting in the same exact hide.

i have 2 hides in my 29 gallon tank
and 1 hide in my 10 gallon...

but im probably gonna try to figure something out where i put both together so i dont have to use 2 seperate tanks...

any advice on moving the 2 females together in one (like should i re do the whole tank?)

You should still reorganize the tank. It doesnt have to be an extreme change, just stir the soil up and make it changed from what it was. Nothing extreme since there females and sholdnt fight to bad

Lol i did whatever i wanted as FAST as i could. Just because i wanted to do it now and not wait. It would probably be fine if u did it tonight.

lol doesnt consist of much work. I mean i reunited 2 of my males and within 5 minutes the tank was ready. They didnt fight AT ALL. One hid in the hide, and then 10 sec later, the other one went in there and before i knew it they were on top of each other.

and im in no mood to try and figure that out tonight ...besides, i gotta add more strate to that tank too...im not in the mood to make the mess tonight

Yeah im sitting here doing homework. Watching my Hadogen.... Which is quite boring but i just LOVE the tails. They have such long tails and its soo cool.

im doin research on what would be good to go in a little 1 gallon tank i have...

1 gallon...it was originally a betta fish tank...
but i bought a better tank for it, so now i have an empty tank and an endless imagination

Get yourself a pet black widow lol. Get a male because they are harmless. dont typically bite nor are they venomous.
