| yeah...before im estimating that my humidity was at about...60-70... after i made the false bottom for it, it took about 1/2 day to get to 80 than the glass started fogging so i knew i had to have done something right...
lol i only have the clips cause i have a very brave baby brother who loves watchin the scorps... if it wasnt for him, i wouldnt have any clips on it...

| id try it...it wouldnt hurt... it doesnt say its proper, i had to get a hygrometer to tell me it was proper... like right now, my humiditys somewhere around 80-84 and my front glass isnt fogged at all...its only the back and sides... but its still really warm to the touch when i reach in to change water, clean dead crickets, or add/ remove decor.... | |

| dont soak your substrate.... just make it moist enough that it looks wet...
lol theyre from a tropical area...not a swampy area...
i made the mistake of adding too much water to my false bottom and my tank still kinda looks like a swamp land im gonna wait till the strate looks dry before i add anymore water at all to it...

| yeah i keep it moist but i covered the lid with saran wrap and even alluminum foil over the saran wrap to keep in heat and humidity. but it doesnt seem to be working? maybe i need to invest in a heat pad. gets pretty cold in canada and my rooms located in the basement too damn | |

| i dont need a heat pad, but everyone on here says not to put it on the bottom, put it on the side of the tank...
i guess putting it on the bottom and not being able to control temperature will cook the scorpions if they burrow...

| The natural instinct of a scorpion when it gets too hot is to burrow. Placing it on the bottom will go against it's natural cycle, and yes likely ultimately kill the scorp.
Just stick it on the back side
