| Oh good god. Don't look at her funny or she might explode! On a side note, I didn't realize the scorps in this genus were so small! | |

I know little about Carboctonus.. was sold this as a Bothrirus keyserlingi.. I dont think it got reclassified. Must be just a different genus, same species name. | |

| completely different scorpion, C keyserlingi! i've had both B keyserlingi is tiny and chocolate brown...C keyserlingi is less round, bigger (moderately) and dark red. check the scorpion files, though the female C keyserlingi is gravid...so rounder than usual! but B keyserlingi is just a bit more round in shape going by tergites, not obesity. Peter, that's a great little girl and i hope she is very productive! wish you the best of luck with her

| Looks exactly like my Bothriurus sp. Think mine might be bigger: I've been waiting over a year since I noticed she was gravid for her to drop the brood ... | |

| Looks like a Both keyser! Small and tightly packed. It is the case that Herr Keyserling discovered many different animals and there is a Keyserling named species in at least 3 cases that I know of. AJL | |
