Ok, the weird thing is that with the largest female I can definitely see the weird shapes through the side and her nerve cord pressed against her back -- however, my smaller female also has her nerve cord visible, and I thought that I could see embryo-like shapes through her membranes. But earlier I could see her new tergites forming, so I thought she was in premolt . . .
I guess I'll have to wait and see. If they're both in premolt, it sucks, 'cause my male is the smallest of the three. If they're both gravid, then that's just weird, because I'd swear they're different instars.
The larger one is getting FAT.
