TODAY I WENT TO CHECK ON MY EMPEROR SCORPIONS AND TO MY HORROR FOUND TWO DEAD! IM HEARTBROKEN! I'VE HAD ALL 4 FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS, NEVER ANY TROUBLE. I DONT GET IT. DID THEY FREEZE TO DEATH??? WHY ONLY 2? OR DID THEY DIE OF OLD AGE? I DONT THINK ITS THAT. ANYONE???? I DONT WANT TO LOSE MY LAST 2! THEY ALL LIVE TOGATHER IN A 29 GAL. W/ HEAT MAT AT ONE END. PLEASE HELP

COINCEDENCE... REALLY! THE ONLY THING I CAN THINK OF IS THAT ITS BEEN GETTING COLDER AT NIGHT AND I LEAVE A WINDOW OPEN FOR THE CATS SO THEY GOT TO COLD. I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT I DID! THEY WERE ALL EATIN FINE LAST WEEK.

Scorpions won't die from cold unless the tempretures are REALLY low.
mabye they aren't even dead... keep an eye on them. got any pictures of them?

I agree It is realy unlikely the cold would kill them unless they were exposed to it for a very long time.

Second, it was probably old age. You said you had them for three years? A WC adult emp typically has at most four to five years left. What's your setup like?
