| I had my suspicions but didn't want to get excited and announce it. Especially with losing all my gravid c. keyserlingi's.
2 weeks ago i looked at her underside and saw faint white blobs but I wasn't 100% their side membrane is very thick and you could see no blobs from the side. Plus when I bought her she ate looooads in first couple of weeks and put on loads of weight. So you can understand why I wasn't sure if they were babies or just lots of fat hahahaha!
She hasn't eaten in about 3-4 weeks so I did have my fingers crossed.
Just had a rough count from looking through side of the tub and I think I counted 10. What a way to bring in 2009... if you cant tell.... I'm well over the moon!

| erm... just ever so slightly cute hahahaha! I love seeing them all bunched up like they are on mum's back.
Cant believe they all fit inside her, as you rightly said, they aren't the biggest scorpion in the world. looking forward to when they come off mum and I can have a proper count up. they are piled 2 high down the middle!
I think it is going to be easier rehoming mum when they come off her back rather than picking out 30ish teeny tiny scorplings!
At least they are communal (i believe) which should make my life easier rearing them.

| I will be keeping a few back for future breeding ( all going well I can get hold of some more) and the rest I will be getting rid of, all going well I can get most if not all of them through the first couple of sheds. I will be giving you lot a shout when they are ready anyway | |

| yes scatty (female water dragon) double clutches. which can be a nightmare!
question... how long should you leave it until you introduce a male and female scorpion together after she has dropped?
