My First Scorpions 2 emperors

I made A Post About getting Them Yesterday And Now i Have Them 2 Emperor Scorps Will get Some Pics On A Later Date ... Just Wondering If U Would Have To Handle Them What ur Technique As i see there Unaggressive ..

you do not have to handle them, infact it isn't recomended.

You don't have to handle them, but sometimes it's necessary during tank maintenance, and it's handy when you're doing invert demonstrations. The best way for me is to place one hand on the substrate and use the other to "scootch" them on.

Basic Plastic set-up water bowl logs barks etc etc .. although my mum wernt to pleased lol

You can also scoot them into a deli cup and sort of "dump" them onto your hand. I find that method to be one of the easiest/safest, unless, of course, you have a Hell spawn demon emperor like what I started with. He was an emp on the outside and an Androctonus on the inside -- or so he thought

You have to check in your preferences to make it show up with every post. I'll see if I can do it from the admin control panel, but if not, it's pretty easy to fix yourself.

Edit: done, it should show up with subsequent posts. By the way, only genus is capitalized in scientific names (not species) and if you want to get real technical, it should be italicized, like Pandinus imperator.

bark isn't very good, it doesn't hold humidity and is generally... just not recomended.

try something like coco fibre or peat moss. I use terra-spider, witch is great.

also, bark does not allow for burrowing.

Ok will Try Something Else It Is Quite Moist Because It has some sort of soil in which keeps the it moist but will try something else

Replace it with either coconut fiber or peat when you get a chance. Bark doesn't hold humidity and doesn't allow them to burrow.

If y ou really must handle, just put your hand 3 inches away from them and gently nudge them onto your hand.
You will have no probs unless you have an emp with an attitude, I Have one that will not be moced he will turn and grab anythng and try to sting. But hes just unusually aggressive

Going To handle later i was just testing methods the erm cup method is very effective no aggression what so ever .
